Literacy - 15 quick reading comprehension activities
In this resource you get 15 pages - each containing a short passage and then reading comprehension activities that focus on:
✅ Vocabulary - students come up with a definition, connotations, synonyms and antonyms for a word from the passage.
✅ Comprehension - just one quick question each to show understanding of:
- Reading on the lines
- Reading between the lines
- Reading beyond the lines
- Reading between the lines.
The aim of this resource is to provide you and your students with QUICK but comprehensive reading practice that doesn't overwhelm! It is aimed at Years 9-11 students.
You can also insert a new templated page to easily create your own further reading comprehension activities. Don't worry, instructions to do so appear on the final page of the resouce. :)
