Writing - 30 writing prompts with changeable genre-audience-purpose
Help your students practice writing for specific genre, audience and purpose with these 30 prompts. With this resource you (or even your students) simply choose a prompt, then click on the dropdown menus to select the:
- Genre
- Purpose
- Audience
Click on further links to remind students about appropriate formats, structure and language for that genre too!
While initially designed to help students practice for the 2024 version of this standard (when it was externally assessed) it would still be fabulous to help students springboard from to develop a crafted masterpiece!
This purchase will give you a link to a Google Doc but is designed to show on your big screen. While slides would have been preferable, Docs have been used to enable use of the dropdown menus.
Of course, you also have the option of sharing with students online or printing a selected page after setting your dropdown menus.
This document is completely editable, so you can tweak to suit your needs, add your own topics to the blank templates added, do as you like! (Remember, you must MAKE A COPY and save to your own drive to edit!)
