Symbolism - in literature and media
This resource on symbolism covers symbols with single uses as well as thematic symbols contributing to main ideas in literature. We also look at symbolism in company logos, emblems, film, subversive symbolism and the way that different cultures and view points mean symbolism doesn't always mean the same thing to everyone. Finally, students look at symbolism in a text they've studied and plan to use it effectively in their own writing.
