Tama Tū is a short film directed by Taika Waititi about courage, brotherhood, cultural identity, and resilience. Set during World War II, the film follows a group of Māori soldiers sheltering in a ruined farmhouse as they pass the time with humour, games, and silent communication while waiting to return to the dangers of war.
