Mātauranga Māori Concepts - Images for planning, creating, leading
This is 2.0 of the earlier 'Concept Labels' (aka images) resource which provided images that you could use to create your own resources. These help you/students consider aspects of texts through the values/tikanga in te ao Māori. Now there are images relating to a wider range of ideas from te ao Māori ... and they're great to bounce writing ideas from too.
This new version includes images/labels relating to:
⭐ Tikanga/values (those 'concepts').
⭐ The three baskets of knowledge.
⭐ The gods.
⭐ The stars of Matariki.
⭐ Te kore, te pō and te ao mārama.
Also included is a TEACHER GUIDE BOOK with:
❤️At-a-glance reference pages of all the images for each aspect.
❤️Ideas for how to use each aspect.
❤️Examples of resources you could create (just one for each aspect to give you a visual of what you could create)
