This resource guides students through the level 3 Unit Standard 3491 Write a Report - version 8.  Entirely editable (because that's what we really need!), this is a no-prep package that teaches and scaffolds students through the writing of their report.

This resource includes:

⭐ A separate coversheet to help you with your grading.

⭐ A student information/workbook.

⭐ The original version of a report (written by Drive Resources as an exemplar) that has been screensnipped into, and annotated in, the student workbook.

⭐ The answers to a quiz about formatting and language that appears in the student workbook.

You and your students will enjoy:

❤️ Examples of commercial reports to look over (hyperlinked) PLUS an exemplar written especially for this standard (and that we've annotated).

❤️ Planning templates to help scaffold students content creation.

❤️ A 'Writing Guide' to help students format their reports correctly and ensure their language is 'report-worthy'.

❤️ Unpacked achievement criteria - explained in student-speak.

❤️ Checkpoints to help students manage their time.

❤️ A checklist to help students ensure the report they submit is bang on!

❤️ A clickable table of contents and 'homepage' button on every page for easy navigation.
