This fully editable resource guides students through Unit Standard 1280 - version 8 - Use Graphics in Communication. Students learn about the many types of graphics, the advantages and disadvantages of using graphics to communicate and when and how graphics make communication clearer.
(Note: we have provided plenty of learning activities, including some where students watch short videos about graphics. You may choose to skip some.)
This resource includes:
⭐ A student booklet with information about graphics, activities to prepare for all criteria of the assessment and eight texts to choose from for the creation of graphics.
⭐ A teacher's answer guide for the learning activities student complete in their preparation booklet.
⭐ A separate assessment booklet with room to write answers and complete their graphics. Eight texts are provided if students struggle to find their own (but they must not use one they used for their practice).
⭐ A coversheet for marking and moderation.
