Reading and Writing Activities - Resource 6
Build the skills and confidence of your year 9-10 students in reading and writing with this SIXTH resource in our literacy collection. This editable booklet is for any students in school or at home who need literacy practice but is designed with New Zealand's literacy unit standards in mind! Includes a separate answer booklet.
Reading:
- Students read a short narrative of a boyhood adventure.
- Students answer questions about this text.
Writing:
- Students must write a narrative (250-350 words) about an adventure of their own - something that, while fun, was a little bit risky!
- Students then complete a range of activities to show their abilities in the technical aspects of writing.
This resource includes:

⭐ A separate answer booklet.

Both the student workbook and the answer booklet come in the following formats:
