Oral Presentation - Speech - Show Us How
A blast from the old NCEA Level 1 past, this task has been prettied up and made generic to suit students in years 9-11. Students show their classmates how to do something (make fudge, change a bike tire, ride a skateboard, create a sentence in te re Māori, make natural remedies, tie a fly...). Prepare to be amazed and entertained - I've even had dogs in my classroom for 'how to train your dog'.
This resource includes:
⭐ One editable student booklet that guides them through from beginning to end.
You and your students will enjoy:
❤️ Watching 'how to' videos to discuss and make notes about things like structure and prop use.
❤️ Help with choosing a topic to discuss.
❤️ Help with logistics such as making cue cards and tips about note care...when you're trying to bake a cake!
❤️ Planning pages
❤️ A checklist to ensure everything is just right.
❤️ Checkpoints to help with time management.

Sharing/Copying this Resource
Feel free to purchase just one for your department - no need for a copy for each teacher. However:
- Please do NOT share with the school down the road.
- Please do NOT take it with you to a new school.
- Feel free to suggest the website to others - that'd be great!
That's pretty fair I think! Let's help each other out. :)
