Literacy - Writing Shorties 1-5 - Short high school writing activities
Improve writing skills in your year 9 and 11 students with these short activities designed to improve a range of writing skills without the overwhelm. We focus on:
- Grammar (tense, homonyms etc)
- Punctuation
- Vocabulary
- Figurative language
- Sound devices
- Sentence structures and more!
Each of the five sets is on one page for easier logistics. Students read a very short text, then complete related writing activities using a range of skills. Texts are a mix of fiction and non-fiction.
